CAL Alumni is Leader for
Samford University Tennis Team
“Samford University freshman Lindsey Mallory (CAL Class of 2007) led the Bulldogs to the Ohio Valley Conference tennis championship this past weekend in Nashville.  Mallory, who also earned 2nd team All-Conference honors, was the only player in the OVC that was undefeated in conference matches, ending the season 10-0 in singles and 12-0 at the #2 doubles position.  By defeating Eastern Kentucky 4-0 in the finals, Samford earned the OVC’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament in early May.”

Marsh Named SEC Women's Player of the Week
Congratulations to Merideth Marsh (Class of 2006) who was named SEC Women's Player of the Week for March 3, 2008. She averaged 17.5 points in victories against Auburn and Alabama, connecting 9 of 15 three-pointers during the week. She has been averaging 9 ppg.

Lt. Brandon T. Dues
CAL Class of 2003

Lt. Dues named 2007 U.S. Air Force Cadet of the Year. Dues received award at Pentagon in January.

President George W. Bush, Mary Beth Rickard (Class of 2008), and Alex Rickard, (Class of 2006) in New Albany, IN. Alex is in the Air Force ROTC Program at UK.

Christian Academy of Louisville has over 1,500 alumni since our first graduating class in 1982. Graduates are always welcome and are encouraged to stay in touch, as well as tour the new campus as they have the opportunity. We want to know what is going on in your life. CAL Alumni named Student Body President
Congratulations to Andrea Chadwick (2005) who was recently named the Student Body President for Georgetown College.

CAL Alumni Debut in WKU Marching Band

CAL music alumni Ian Wilder, Maggie Jones and Hershey Eason are marching in the Big Red Marching Band at Western Kentucky University.  They marched their first collegiate show Saturday, September 8 when WKU played West Virginia Tech. 

Ian, Maggie and Hershey were charter members of CAL's first marching band last year.  Way to go Alumni and Go Toppers!

Class of 1982 25th Reunion

It is hard to believe that 25 years have already passed. There were Eighteen students were in the class of 1982, and there were nine alumni in attendance. In addition, a special recognition and celebration is being planned for this year's Homecoming (October 19th) during a CAL football game.
