Lt. Brandon T. Dues, CAL Class of 2003
Christian Academy Graduate to Receive Award at PentagonBrandon T. Dues, US Air Force 2nd Lieutenant, has been named the 2007 US Air Force Cadet of the Year for his accomplishments during his fours years at the US Air Force Academy. He was ranked first among 978 cadets in his class for military performance and graduated 10 th overall in the class of 2007 at the Academy. Lt. Dues was cited for sacrifice, dedication, and sustained superior performance that earned him a coveted slot to Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training. He was one of 25 nation-wide accepted into the Pardee Rand Graduate School at the RAND Corporation where he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Policy Analysis. In addition, he was offered admittance into Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Lt. Dues earned his B.S. in Mathematical Science from the US Air Force Academy in 2007 and is a 2003 graduate from Christian Academy of Louisville. Lt. Dues was selected for the award by a British air squadron, a private organization of British citizens who pay tribute to the U.S. military for its support of the United Kingdom. It recognizes the most outstanding cadet in an Air Force commissioning program.
